The
Live Cam feature requires
Quicktime, a
free application for Mac and Windows available here.
Live cam will perform best for those with high-speed
internet access. Dial up (modem) connections are not
recommended. If you're downloading content or performing
any activities that keep your network connection busy,
you may experience a drop in broadcast quality.
| Can Anyone Watch? |
Some broadcasts are restricted to members only. I use one of three graphics in my top menu bar to indicate whether only members can watch or everyone can watch. So what's the difference?
 This broadcast is used when I'm in gear and in the Chat Room with everyone in a Live community session. This is the best opportunity to chat with me or others. |

 I'm often working on projects and can't take the time to join Live Chat, so this "Life" Cam feature means you can watch my "life", but I'm not in the chat room. This cam catches me at odd hours, doing who knows what. Sometimes I'm in gear, sometimes not, sometimes working out or eating dinner, but essentially, I am not available for chat. This feature added by request by you voyeurs out there just wanting to watch me in my daily routine without taking me away from things I'm working on or want to do. Hell, if I'm gonna offer up more of my privacy, it's for members only. |

 This broadcast is used when I'm in the Chat Room, in gear, and most likely gonna shoot my load at some time in the broadcast. Sometimes, I like to keep these "sessions" for members only. I'm always in chat for these broadcasts and the Chat Room is (as always) open to all 24/7, but the video is restricted to paid supporting members only. |

| How do I see Member's Only Broadcast? |
Members need a special link that nobody else can see. If you're a Member wanting to watch, allow popups and to get the private link. Member broadcasts are never the same, so don't bookmark them. |
| What does you mean by "members"? |
If you're new here and haven't figured it out, KidRacer-X is a one-man show. I produce everything you see online. To support my costs and time, studs like you buy a subscription to my site and become a member. Becoming a member gives you access to thousands of images, wallpapers, video clips, and more. |
| How do I know when to watch? |
| There's two ways to answer that. The simple one is that you'll know when Live Cam is On when one of those three graphics above are in my menu bar. But, what I think you really wanna know is how can you know long in advance of a scheduled show? The answer is I don't know. I make every effort to announce Live Cam as soon as I know I can commit. Between my long work hours, client projects on weekends, it's difficult. |

Can't get Quicktime to "grab" the Live Cam feed? In QuickTime, navigate to the "open
url" under the FILE menu
and input this: This is, of course, the standard link for broadcasts available for everyone. It will not work for private "Member Only" broadcasts. |

If you're having problems or need
to bypass a possible firewall, CLICK
ON THIS LINK. This broadcast method
should work for 99% of all viewers and it will
open into a new browser window (Internet Exploder,
Netscape, Safari, Firefox). Once opened into your
browser window, you can bookmark the page for
quick access in the future. Again, this is a solution for broadcasts available to everyone. It will not work for private "Member Only" broadcasts. |
